Event safety

We will ensure public order and safety according to the Assembly Act and comply with all laws. We are cooperating with the police. A safety plan has been prepared for the event, and numerous people who are in charge of security as well as support personnel will be present. Support persons can be identified by their safety vests.

Principles for a Safer Event

  • Treat others respectfully and with good intentions. Ask, listen, and apologize if needed.
  • Aim to create a strong sense of community. We are all here for a common cause!
  • Look after one another. Offer help kindly by asking.
  • Give space to others and be aware of how much space you’re taking up — there’s room for everyone!
  • Avoid making assumptions about others based on appearance. Prejudices are hard to avoid, but worth examining.
  • Do not touch anyone, their belongings, or assistive devices without permission. Also avoid wearing strong scents.

We encourage all participants to help create an atmosphere where everyone’s safety and well-being are prioritized. If you witness or experience any kind of discrimination or inappropriate behavior, please don’t hesitate to approach a staff member in a safety vest.
